Throughout the past 25+ years , my adult and child clients have been inspired me to believe that nature has equipped us with the potential for resilience and transformational thriving even the most tragic circumstances. My healing work with clients validates the two essential applications of relational neuroscience that ground my work: 1) emotional healing is as inherent in our biology as is physical healing, and 2) the healing actions of the mind/brain can only occur in the context of the safe, attuned, and trusting therapeutic relationship. I am a Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress. I have advanced training in the treatment of attachment trauma, effects of childhood trauma in adulthood, and traumatic grief. My foundational psychotherapeutic approach is AEDP (Accelerated, Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy) www.aedpinstitute.org. I am a Level III AEDP therapist. Adjunctive to AEDP I utilize EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) www.emdria.org, and Equine Assisted Psychotherapy.
