I am Lisbeth Dodd, LICSW, and my practice includes adults, seniors, and couples. I have assisted clients for 20 years in a variety of helping relationships and roles including psychotherapy, case management, and medical and emergency mental health. I apply a client-centered, broadly integrative approach, including psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral principles. I work with individuals who may be experiencing a wide range of concerns that may include: anxiety, stress, relationship problems, adjustment disorders, depression, and trauma. I have assisted many clients, and their families who struggle with mental health issues, which, at times, have included medical complications such as Alzheimer's disease, multiple sclerosis, and cancer. I have extensive experience in community and hospital-based health and mental health, and in long-term care facilities. I provide geriatric case management and paralegal services including geriatric mental health evaluation, service assessment, planning and procurement. I also offer clinical supervision for social workers seeking professional licensure. I see clients for outpatient psychotherapy in my offices in Burlington and Stowe, and seniors in their homes, or care facility, as necessary.
