I tend to work best with clients who have exerienced significant trauma in their lives, which has affected them in a variety of ways, such as relationship difficulties, addictions, sexual issues, anxiety/OCD, and mood disorders. Ideally, I am most effective with patients who are ready to work through theses traumas, and who are motivated to change their lives in a holistic way through a multiple modality approach to healing and wellness. Patients who are goal-oriented and focused on specific behavioral,relationship, and sexual goals tend to be most successful in my practice. I have been trained in EMDR at Level II for 18 years, and have extensively worked with a variety of trauma-related challenges such as personality disorders, especially narcissism, OCD and other anxiety disorders, mood disorders, relationship difficulties, and unwanted bisexuality. I also work extensively with victims of sexual abuse. I consider myself to be a holistic practitioner, and have an extensive network of colleagues with whom I work collaboratively to help patients achieve a more comprehensive healing process. These including alternative clinicians, trauma-based body work therapists, psychodiagnostic evaluators, psychiatrists, organizational specialists, and financial planners.
