I have been with Applied Psychological Services since 2003. I have also worked in a residential and acute hospitalization setting for children and teenagers. Prior to that I was a deputy juvenile officer for ten years and have used those experiences to working therapeutically with teenage girls and their parents in life transitions. I have worked extensively with disaster victims in critical incident crisis debriefing and PTSD therapy. I also enjoy working with short-term therapy clients and see employee assistance clients either through mandatory or elective referrals. I speak on many topics in the field of healthcare and wellness. I have received specialty training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and see clients with personality disorders, especially borderline personality disorders. I have years of experience in working with child abuse and neglect victims as well as their parents. I also see children with attachment disorders and their families. I am fortunate to be a part of a practice that is very multi-faceted. We support one another and are a part of one another's lives. We seek supervision from one another and have the ability to staff clients together.
