I view therapy as a collaborative process of acknowledging and changing those patterns of behaviors and thinking which contribute to problems in living and relationships. I believe that growth in therapy should be a creative process of healing that not only reduces symptoms but also increases overall wellbeing. I make pragmatic and creative use of ideas and methods from a variety of perspectives. Further, I understand that there is no "one size fits all" approach to therapy and as such, I work to tailor my practice to meet the specific needs, goals, and concerns of each of my clients. I am currently a Licensed Social Worker and graduate of the University of Chicago. I practice at Creative Interventions Counseling in Valparaiso, Indiana. Prior to joining Creative Interventions, my experience included psychiatric social work at Northwestern Memorial Hospital as well as Chicago Read Mental Health Center where I conducted individual and group psychotherapy.
