I have worked for years with children (10 up), adolescents, and adults with ADHD, grief, anxiety, and relational issues. Training, personal experience, and professional practice have tended to focus my attention and work in those areas. I start with an assessment of a person's issues and their strengths to cope with those issues. Together, we develop other strengths that are needed. I see my task as that of a navigator to help you, as the driver, find the best path to achieve your goals, traveling at your most appropriate speed. I help you watch for obsticles and deal with them. Relationships are either assets or liabilities, starting with our relationship with ourselves. The way we feel about ourselves affects not only us but our family and friends. ADHD affects the way children and adults focus and value their lives, often determining personal, educational and social success. We treat the whole person. The office is a multidisciplinary practice, providing a broad source of services. I refer to colleagues if they are better suited for your situation.
