I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 15 years experience of providing direct clinical care in a private practice setting to adolescents, young adults, and families, I am devoted to promoting the emotional, social, and psychological well-being to all individuals. I utilize a strength- based, client-centered perspective. Cognitive-Behavior-Therapy has been my primary theoretical framework. However, I have been stimulated and inspired by mindfulness-based interventions that have culminated as evidence-based treatment for a variety of presenting conditions. Acceptance & Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy provides a unique and creative approach to help create life-changing experiences. As a social worker, I proudly practice under the values, ethical principles, and standards set forth by the Code of Ethics of the National Association of Social Workers. I highly respect and value my clients' right to privacy, as I explain, "My first job is to earn your trust." I am proud to have been appointed a member of The Hazelden Betty Ford Youth Advisory Committee in 2014. From May, 2012 - May, 2014, I held positions of Adjunct Professor and Faculty Liaison for Florida Gulf Coast University, College of Health Professions & Social Work: Department of Social Work, Ft.
