I am an LPC, LADC, and also training as a counseling psychologist in an APA accredited training program. I believe people are truly amazing, highly complex, and capable of living happy, fulfilling lives; reaching their goals and living their dreams. I think I am well prepared to assist individuals struggling with stress, anxiety, and depression that could be vulnerable to social stigma or are members of a marginalized population. My goal is to accompany and support those individuals through the discovery of how valuable they are and what they have to contribute to society, despite many challenges they may encounter. Many people struggle with anxiety and depression simply because of how they identify. I'm committed to helping individuals uncover their problem(s) and help eliminate or moderate the effect those problems have in their lives. I use an integrated approach, and focus on what works best for that individual. I am devoted to helping racial and ethnic minorities, the LGB population, and Transgender individuals suffering with emotional distress from discrimination. I am invested as a trusted, caring professional in others well-being, sharing in clients' struggles, assisting them in rewriting their life story, on a path right for them.
