I am Susan Adams, licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor, in private practice in Atlanta for over thirty years. My best credential is that I have been married for over thirty-six years and have raised one daughter, numerous cousins, and currently am owned by two wonderful Boston Terriers. I am a Clinical Member and an Approved Supervisor for The American Association for marriage and Family Therapy. This latter means that I train and credential other therapists who are looking for state licensure or clinical membership in our professional organization. It is exciting, I believe, to watch people find better solutions to problems and in so doing to live better and healthier lives. I am a marriage friendly therapist which means competence in the practice of couples therapy, respect for marriage, and a value orientation that supports life-long commitment in a throw-away culture. So, in an effort to reach more people in today's busy world, I am delighted to take what I have learned after over 30+ years in private practice, working with a multitude of problems and solutions, into an internet environment such as this one.
