I believe that all people can feel satisfaction in their lives and can make changes that will benefit them. My goal is to empower people to achieve their potential. I make myself available to my clients and they feel supported. I work with my clients and together we make a plan that meets their needs and helps them achieve their goals for counseling. Besides providing support and encouragement to my clients, I help them identify target problems and together we make a plan to address each one. I provide feedback and am non-judgemental. I teach clients to dispute their negative self talk and replace it with positive ways of thinking about situations. I have been helping people since 1988. My experience includes inpatient and outpatient settings. I am knowledgeable with resources in the Atlanta area. I am friendly and non-judgemental and help people feel comfortable with the counseling process. I enjoy what I do and it shows when I work with my clients.
