I am the Director of the Duneland Counseling Center that opened in 1999. Our staff includes ten licensed therapists who specialize in children, teens, adults, and couples. We are across from Thomas Library in a small green house that clients describe as comfortable and cozy. We strive to restore hope and provide options for those who face an intimidating array of challenges. Our mission is to provide high quality care to enhance your relational capacities and to empower you to utilize your resources more effectively to meet life's demands. People usually seek treatment due to a difficult life situation. Our focus is to help you address your concerns and develop options to improve your quality of life and relationships. Our therapists assist you to identify your goals, comfort level for change, and need for session frequency. To schedule a first appointment you may speak directly to our office assistant, Mary, between 9AM - 1PM weekdays at 921-0705. She will give you a description of the therapists available to meet with you and will contact your insurance company to confirm your benefits and any cost to you.
