I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker with over 12 years of experience working with individuals, groups, and couples. I especially enjoy supporting couples in therapy and see working through conflict within relationship as an opportunity for healing and deepening of intimacy. I have advanced training in couples therapy utilizing the Developmental Model which recognizes how early life experiences impact the relationship and offers individual personal growth and healing of the relationship. Women's issues are also important to me and I have over 10 years of experience working with women experiencing intimate partner abuse. I recognize that life is full of stress and unfortunately traumatic experiences. Whether working with individuals or couples, we will work together to discover your path to well being by uncovering your own inner strength and resources. I am highly motivated to help people become empowered and develop healthy relationships within themselves and with others. I use a combination of therapeutic techniques that often include a strengths based approach with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gestalt and Brief Solution Focused therapy.
