The stresses of life can sometimes accumulate, causing anxiety and depression. Relationships can change and become confusing and complicated. This can be true for men, women, teens, and even children. If you, a friend, or a family member are struggling with daily coping, there is help. I enjoy supporting clients and teaching them skills to manage the daily stresses and disappointments of life. It often helps to talk to someone objective and uninvolved but who still cares. I offer a peaceful, confidential, supportive environment to help men, women, children, and couples learn skills to manage life. My approach to anxiety and depression includes providing support and encouragement while teaching skills to manage negative thoughts and emotions. I teach healthy relational skills and help clients determine if their past history is presently impacting them. I help couples learn and use communication skills. I have experience working with clients who currently or in the past have had medical illnesses. I have also helped those who have had an abortion, miscarriage or early infant death. I support clients in using comforting spiritual beliefs that help them cope with life's difficulties.
