Dr. Mott completed his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida and was awarded his Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology from The American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University in Tampa, FL. He completed his internship at Clemson University in SC working with those struggling with depression, anxiety, adjustment problems, relationship difficulties, and identity issues. Also, evaluating students who were experiencing academic difficulties from learning disabilities, or emotional issues. He has experience in a variety of clinical settings including inpatient psychiatric facilities assessing and treating those suffering from serious mental illness and self-injurious behaviors. Dr. Mott works in a client centered manner and employs Interpersonal and Cognitive-Behavioral interventions which attend to one's culture, individual differences and preference. His special interests in practice include Mindfulness techniques, anxiety management, and promoting personal growth. Dr. Deborah A. Harrison is director of The Counseling Associates, with offices in Naples, Bonita Springs and Ft Myers.
