I have master's degrees in both marriage and family therapy and social work. I am the former director and supervising therapist of the RI Marriage and Family Therapy Center and a supervisory member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. I have worked with couples for almost thirty years, helping them avoid "here we go again" arguments and find ways to resolve problems instead of arguing about them repeatedly. Treatment is usually brief, with most clients being seen for under 10 sessions. Counseling can help you to: Like your teenager again. Resolve anger issues Improve relationships Get unstuck I also offer Equine Assisted Counseling. Sessions are held on the farm with the assistance of horses. This type of counseling is effective for those who feel stuck in traditional counseling or for those for who that talk therapy isn't helping.
