I work best with couples and families trying to make sense of their lives, marriages and couples relationships. I have a good deal of experience working with trauma victims having worked with Marines in the Middle East during the Iraq War. I have been treating substance abusers for the past 40 years and like to involve their significant others in my work. I also work with individuals who are motivated to change usually because the pain is so great to remain the same. I find at this time in my life I am capable of giving insight, empathy and not being judgmental of their special circumstance.
