I love working with couples hanging on by a thread, difficult kids, and maxed out business owners / executives / top sales people. I also have a special place in my heart for people (especially men) that are less than thrilled with the idea of therapy. I've walked all these paths and I understand. As a therapist, my goal is to pull alongside people during their times of hurt and frustration, work to make sure you're heard and understood, help sort out complicated emotions, and chart a course of action that helps bring the therapy relationship to a close. Prior to working as a LAMFT in Arkansas, I spent five years in California counseling both affluent and at-risk teens, as well as their parents. Following this, I spent three more years working as a pastoral counselor, specializing in helping adults and couples with a wide variety of issues. Though based in Little Rock, I offer "weekend intensives" anywhere in Arkansas, including NW Arkansas, Fort Smith, Eureka Springs, & Jonesboro. These intensives include 3-6 sessions (one hour each), Friday - Sunday evening. Intensives can also be booked in Little Rock for people wishing to pair a weekend getaway with therapy.
