As a therapist I believe each person has the necessary tools inside of themselves to solve their problems. My job is to help them find and figure out how to utilize those tools. I am a cognitive behavioral therapist and believe that change is possible for anyone. I am committed to my clients, and if they are willing to take the journey, I am willing to travel with them, sometimes as their guide, sometimes as their fellow traveler. I appreciate clients who are willing to work, and I will be with them in whatever way I am able. Cognitive Behavioral therapy allows individuals to make changes in their lives in order to let go of issues that cause them stress. It might be about changing how we look at life, or "tilting" to see life from another angle. I am an older therapist who has lived life and had experiences that are helpful as I work with others. I enjoy challenging clients and work to assist them the most appropriate and compassionate way that I am able.
