Sometimes life is just hard! Whether you are struggling with the ups and downs of life, or life has thrown you curve balls such as abuse or divorce, getting through can be hard...but you do not have to do it alone. I am here to be your coach, confidant, encourager, and friend, and to help you learn the skills needed to weather the storm. I am a faith-based counselor, incorporating Christ into sessions, and practice play therapy with children and adolescents. Come find hope and healing, and include a contact number! I am a Certified Trauma Counselor and Certified Addiction Counselor, and have worked with trauma and addiction through different settings, such as Child Protective Services, homeless and domestic violence shelters, and an advocacy center for sexually abused children. My practice is faith-based. This means that I integrate psychological theory with Biblical principles in my counseling approach. I am not a just a Christian who practices Counseling, I have been trained to integrate these two concepts, making me a Christian Counselor who is licensed.
