Oftentimes Christians who are struggling with a significant problem feel stuck. It is a good thing to ask for help. As a counselor who specializes in Christian counseling, I will listen non-judmentally, help you develop a biblical outlook related to your self worth, and will teach you practical skills for daily living. This may include communication skills, setting appropriate boundaries, ways to connect to God in prayer, or other life skills appropriate to your situation. I also counsel many clients who do not want Christian counseling, but are interested in other therapy goals. Though I treat people with many circumstances and struggles, some common concerns include: Christian counseling, grief, trauma, women's issues, relationship issues, life and career transitions, sexual addiction in women, alcohol addiction, co-dependency, assertiveness training, parenting special needs children, disabilities, ADHD skill enhancement, anxiety, depression, and pre-marital counseling. I have a wealth of experience in life (special education teacher, parent, wife). I am a trained Prepare/Enrich Relationship Facilitator and have completed Level 1 of Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
