My ideal client is reading this right now and probably wondering how to choose a therapist who will be a good fit. Therapy can be a challenging, but fulfilling, process; I enjoy helping clients of any age make positive changes in their lives. Depression, anxiety, stress, past trauma, relationship difficulties, parenting issues...all of these things can affect our functioning in sometimes negative ways. Together we can address complex issues in order to help you create a meaningful, balanced, and healthy life. I strive to make therapy a comfortable, collaborative and compassionate experience for my clients. Life is hard; therapy can help. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I am also a certified in The Nurtured Heart Approach, which is a technique that not only addresses challenging behaviors in children, but is also an excellent way to create healthy relationships with the people in your life. Our office does not look like an office! It is a home-like atmosphere that is welcoming, comfortable, and private. We are handicapped accessible and conveniently located. Our sand tray/play therapy room is enjoyed by clients of all ages.
