My clinical work has consisted of treating a variety of clients with different backgrounds, experiences, and concerns. I am particularly interested in developing goals with you, and/or your child, that are relevant to your current situation that can help you and/or your child move forward in an effective and healthy manner. I have experience with treating interpersonal relationship problems, anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, family of origin issues, and grief and loss. I work with children, families, adolescents, and adults in a therapeutic environment. Additionally, I have an extensive background utilizing Therapeutic Play with children of all ages. While I have extensive experience working with children and families in a clinical setting, I also have worked as an outdoor educator, a case manager for adults with developmental challenges, a counselor for adolescents with addiction, and as a classroom teacher. Therefore I welcome all ages and abilities. I have an eclectic clinical approach that is geared toward, but not limited by, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Choice Theory, and Reality based therapy. Lastly, I believe that Mindfulness can be an important tool within the context of a therapeutic setting.
