Trauma can effect everyone. These difficult situations can effect daily life, with intrusions, fear, shame, insomnia, numb, depression, and flashbacks. I begin treatment with stabilizing intense emotions that cause difficulty in living a whole hearted life. Then processing through the pain with care and support. In this process new skills and insight are obtained to be able to continue living a happy value oriented life I specialize in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy noted by the World Health Organization as one of the leading treatments for PTSD. EMDR focuses in on processing through past traumatic events to decrease the emotional pain attached to those events. Working from a holistic stand point and using proven methodologies I help individuals make leaps and bounds in their own personal success. In my practice I also help to heal the effects of trauma in the lives of individuals, families, couples, and within groups. Currently being supervised by Dan Oakes, LPC
