Thank you for considering me as a resource in your personal, family, or group development. I have worked in mental health for over 35 years, including individual psychotherapy and counseling, relationship counseling, and organizational consultation. My practice motto is "Competent Caring Conversations for Change" and that is the basis of all my work with clients, regardless of the problem. Each person is unique, with strengths and opportunities, as well as challenges and problems. Therapeutic solutions arise out of utlizing innate strengthsand learning new ways to deal with challenges. I especially enjoy helping with issues related to poor health, trauma, anxiety/ depression. I am licensed as both a Psychologist and a Marriage and Family Therapist. In addition to my graduate training in Clinical, Family, and Health Psychology, I have post-doctoral training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapies, EMDR, Mindfulness, Coaching, Solution/ Positive Psychology, Ericksonian Hypnotherapy, Expressive Art Therapies, and many other modalities. I work in a solo practice, under the corporate name Prescott Counseling & Consulting, Ltd., and enjoy providing a serene, positive, and confidential environment for client's work. Given my many years of practice and learning, I have a vast background of ideas and skills to assist your growth.
