I realize "pat" answers are frustrating and will work with you to find ways to implement the changes you seek, and begin to accept what you cannot change. Anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, stress and transitions are among the issues I address in therapy. I continually seek to grow and learn effective means to help my clients make positive changes. I believe in a multi-faceted approach including lifestyle changes, tackling dysfunctional thinking patterns, incorporating healthy coping skills, addressing sources of distress, understanding each client's uniqueness and identifying fresh solutions. I utilize several approaches including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) which is an evidence based practice for treating trauma. I have extensive experience with people of many different cultures and beliefs and have a background in Christian ministry. I assure your beliefs -regardless what they are--will be respected!
