I believe there are times in life we all get lost, stuck, or hurt and find ourselves not knowing how to move forward. We long for something different and have no idea how to get there. Personal growth is a journey. A counselor is a guide through the most difficult parts. My job is to help you recognize and develop strategies for the barriers and triggers that cause distress. My goal is to help you improve the quality of your relationships and know how to move forward in confidence. I choose validated approaches and techniques that fit your specific needs. My personal approach is relational, open, and caring. I am non-judgmental and believe people do the best they can with what they have. Many clients state I am different than other counselors they have encountered and that my approach is warm and effective. I am active as a crisis counselor for adolescents and their families. I have 13 years experience as a pastoral counselor. I have a sliding fee scale to assist those with financial challenges. My wife and I have been married for 15 years and we have an energetic son.
