Are you distressed by memories of childhood neglect or other trauma? Do you feel shame or regret about yourself or your body? I help empower clients to explore and come to terms with issues like these. My years of education, training and work have given me a detailed perspective about some of the concerns that trouble people - as well as the underlying challenges and complicated feelings that come up when dealing with them. My broad, psychodynamic and integrative background help me work openly and sensitively with clients to meet their goals in therapy. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I practice within the profession's highest ethical standards, which includes respect for diversity. Evenings and some weekend hours available. My standardized fee is $110 for a fifty-minute session. When needed I can sometimes work with people to set a rate that reflects their ability to pay for therapy, especially if they will not be using any insurance. Shorter or longer, pro-rated meetings can be arranged.
