As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor, my goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life. I do not label myself with any particular therapeutic technique. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapies, along with other modes of therapy. I have two years experience in Anger Management. I have also been trained in EMDR and am working toward certification. Although I have a Christian background, I am non-judgmental and encourage my clients to follow their own beliefs without any influence from me. My role is to inform, and focus on mental health symptoms while allowing the client to pursue their own spiritual path.
