I work with older adolescents, adults, and seniors. Couples therapy is also something that I provide. Many people get stuck in their current relationships because of a creative adjustment that was necessary when they were young. New adjustments become necessary to be more capable to make good contact. I enjoy working and supporting clients to make those important adjustments. I am trained as a Gestalt Therapist. I did three years, post graduate clinical study with the Gestalt Therapy Institute of Philadelphia. I have trained working with people in recovery from substance abuse/dependence. I trained in hypnosis with Dr. Clorinda Margolis and worked with a meditation teacher. Relaxation techniques may be incorporated in therapy. I have worked for several years in the mental health field and bring various work experiences into my private practice. I have worked inpatient at both psychiatric hospitals and a medical hospital with cancer patients/ families. I have worked in public mental health centers, a group practice, and as a consultant with a public agency.
