I work with adults, older adults, and couples in transition. I believe people have all the tools they need to supersede surviving and grow into thriving. Some times it is in our confusion and life's difficult points that we cannot see which tools we need to utilize in order to have the peace and joy we strive for. Working with an understanding and patient counselor can be the key to becoming empowered and making the necessary changes needed to achieve your goals. In therapy, we will always design custom goals and strive to meet them, together. I specialize in Couples; Grief/Loss; Interpersonal/Relational Difficulties; Anxiety; Depression; Gender Identity/Sexual Identity concerns/challenges; Trauma/PTSD; General Life Transitions. I also specialize in addictions (substances; sexual; gambling; food; shopping; co-dependency; internet; pornography; family members of addicts). I specialize in a unique approach to the therapeutic alliance, using Interpersonal Theory mixed with Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy. Therapy with me is not the traditional 50 minute hour. Please plan on your therapeutic appointments lasting 1 hour and 20 minutes.
