I am a licensed counselor and art psychotherapist with 10 years of experience working with children, teens, and adults dealing with a wide range of mental health concerns. I have a Master's Degree in Art Therapy, and am a Member of the American Art Therapy Association. I use art in my practice which provides a unique method of communication which can open doors to a more balanced life. Art Therapy is facilitated by the Art Therapist and uses art media, the creative process, and the resulting artwork to explore feelings, reconcile emotional conflicts, foster self-awareness, manage behavior, develop social skills, reduce anxiety, and increase self-esteem. My approach focuses on building a relationship that empowers, and focuses treatment on wellness, not pathology.
