Becoming a counselor has been my goal since I was 15 years old, and I've been fortunate to experience counseling in multiple settings. Through this, I've come to recognize that everyone's journey is different and cookie cutter treatment isn't the answer. I choose a multi-dimensional approach with my clients, focusing on their strengths and their personal goals, then finding a theoretical framework that works best to meet their needs. Though I am still relatively new to professional counseling, I am experienced in treating anxiety, depression, and addiction issues. In addition to traditional counseling, I chose to specialize in addictions counseling. My experience with adolescents & adults in inpatient & outpatient settings have given me a different perspective on treating both client and disease. I feel that our practice is different because we offer both therapy and medication management in the same office, giving clients a one-stop shop in a small, comforting atmosphere.
