With over twelve plus years of counseling experience, I approach therapy from a comprehensive perspective. Sharing parts of your life and/or most personal concerns with another requires a great deal of courage. However, it is often during the times of our most difficult seasons, when reaching out to someone provides an unexpected opportunity to gain not only new perspective, but also be encouraged to live out an even "better" story. Knowing that, I offer individuals, couples, and families the opportunity to process a variety of issues in a trusted and compassionate environment. My areas of specialties include, (but are not limited to) grief, anxiety, depression, identity, self esteem, relationship concerns, couples conflict, and trauma, including Adult Survivors of SA. As a "mom", I also have a passion for meeting others who may be experiencing self defeating and/or overwhelming thoughts related to parenthood. While guilt, poor boundaries, and under utilized coping skills can be factors, the opportunity for change is great within the confines of a positive therapeutic relationship.
