I have over 15 years experience as a therapist working with individuals, couples and families. Since 2006, I have been using Richard Schwartz' Internal Family Systems model. This approach enables clients to get to know and understand themselves in a new way that increases compassion, curiosity and connectedness. This approach also enables clients to heal the parts of themselves who get hurt by their partners and to speak effectively to their own parts' concerns. I have found that this can create the safe atmosphere in which their loving, playful and creative parts can become more present. My approach to counseling is client centered, collaborative and respectful. I help individuals and couples generate loving, authentic, adaptable and evolving relationships. I have experienced many clients growing out of extreme internal and interpersonal conflict styles. This has led me to have a deep confidence in my clients' resourcefulness and resiliency. I love this way of working and take delight in introducing it to my clients.
