Our Outpatient Treatment Program The Recovery Village general outpatient treatment program offers individualized therapy to clients struggling with substance abuse and addictions. Outpatient substance abuse treatment provides clients who live completely independently with the professional ongoing therapy interactions needed to maintain recovery, while returning to school and work. Clients in outpatient addiction treatment continue to process their successes, explore fears and concerns, and continue relapse prevention development. Some clients, depending on their drug use history and quality of family support, may receive initial substance abuse help on an outpatient basis, without previously attending a residential program.Providing a seamless transition along all parts of the continuum of care, including our outpatient treatment program, is an important part of the services that we provide. All members of the treatment team collaborate in sharing information and adjusting treatment, so that the entire recovery process progresses effectively. Our Outpatient Detox Program Outpatient detox (including outpatient opiate detox) helps certain clients manage the physical and psychological symptoms of withdrawal from drugs or alcohol, without being admitted to an inpatient detox facility. In this way, clients are able to continue their full-time school, work, and home obligations, while receiving treatment for substance abuse. Medication assisted recovery is a practical, accurate, and non-stigmatizing way to utilize medications, under the close supervision of a qualified physician, to help clients begin and sustain recovery.
