Counseling is a tool to challenge old coping skills and to address suffering that can disrupt a healthy life. A safe and positive relationship is the cornerstone of any healing therapeutic experience. I offer a healing space to safely explore ways to face challenges, overcome traumas, and develop a path towards valued living. Together we can learn more about the difficulties in your life you want to change and your inherent strengths. I have specialized in woman's issues, physical and sexual trauma, and parenting education with adults for over 7 years. In this time I have also worked in domestic violence as well as provided individual and family therapy with adolescents and their parents. I am trained in Gestalt therapy at The Gestalt Center in Gainesville, FL under the supervision of Pat Korb and Alice Martin. I am also fully certified as a Domestic Violence Advocate through the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
