Intensive Outpatient Programs Desert Milagros is an outpatient treatment center that specializes in three keys areas: Eating Disorders, Trauma Recovery, and General Mental Health, including anxiety, depression, self-harming and substance abuse. Each speciality track offers separate groups for Adults,Teens and Pre-teens. Our programs have a holistic focus and provides support for the early stages of recovery through the aftercare phase. Groups are offered each day and for some clients can be an alternative to residential or in-patient care. Our groups provide the support needed allowing participants to remain at home, in school, or at work. Our programs are covered by most insurance companies, and we are contracted with several community mental health agencies. Holistic Focus You might have tried many methods in your search for recovery. We believe that you will find our comprehensive approach to treatment more effective than traditional approaches. Our commitment to providing experiential, cutting edge techniques in addition to more conventional methods gives you the tools to sustain recovery. Additionally we promote healthy living skills for all our clients and incorporate nutrition assessment and education, stress reduction skills, and personal training throughout our programs.Participants also have the opportunity to participate in our eco-therapy program that includes equine assisted learning. Treatment Modalities You can expect a full spectrum of treatment modalities including traditional therapies and a new generation of therapies in all our treatment programs, including EMDR, Brain Spotting, Neurofeedback, Function First Therapy, EFT, Somatic Experiencing, Brain Gym, NLP, Psych-K, DBT and Distress Tolerance Skills, and Equine Assisted Learning & Eco-therapies.
