Substance Abuse IOP Our Intensive Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment Program is designed to provide in-depth treatment for clients experiencing chronic problems with alcohol/drugs and other dependence. Our goals are to provide information about the physical, emotional, social, and legal consequences of alcohol consumption and/or drug use and prevent recidivism. Alcoholism or drug addiction is a serious progressive illness that can lead to mental, physical, and emotional pain. The treatment components focus on a recovery program concerned with not just abstinence, but abstinence as a fulfilling, productive way of life. Each client will have an individual treatment plan based on a face-to-face interview, screening and intake information. Individualized treatment plans with each individual will identify and address specific needs pertinent to continued substance abuse. The A.A. 12-Step philosophy is strongly supported and encouraged. Relapse prevention is designed for individuals who have made a commitment to change. It's designed to prevent the client from returning to thoughts, emotions, and actions that originally brought the client into treatment. The I.O.P. Treatment Program consists of a minimum of (21), (3) hour group sessions meeting a minimum of twice a week plus an "Intake" and an "Exit" interview. Grief and Bereavement IOP We recognize that everyone has to cope with losing someone or something they love and for some, this can become a traumatic event, especially if it follows a lifetime of stressful events. We approach grief and loss trauma treatment with compassion and care; we will never minimize or judge your experiences. Grief is a normal and unavoidable reaction to loss. Most professionals consider 12 months as a guide for normal grieving, however based on culture and type of loss, some individuals may experience normal grief for a longer period of time. Our program is designed to provide a therapeutic approach from the beginning of your experience and will continue until you have achieved a sustaining path of hope to guide you as the healing process continues. Our program ranges from weeks, months, and years for some who prefer to continue to connect with others who share similar loss. There is no time limit placed on your individual needs. An intake assessment will determine your initial treatment plan and will be re-evaluated regularly to ensure your goals remain in line with in your healing process. Individual counseling is available as an adjunct to our group therapy. After School Intensive Outpatient Program The After School Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a program for children (6-11) and adolescents (12-18 years of age) who are challenged with mental health issues related to ADHD. It is a short-term, intensive program for the achievement of adaptive/positive behavior change at home, school and in the community. The After School IOP Offers: an intermediate level of care for the adolescent who requires more intensive services that the traditional outpatient setting but does not require the intensity of a full day program. Group-oriented sessions that focus on teaching and reinforcing an evidenced-based skill set. A multi-disciplinary team approach to relieve symptoms and improve positive coping and communication skills. Focus on family as a unit to engage parents and aid in their understanding of their child's diagnosis. Coordination with adolescent's outpatient providers, including school clinicians. Aftercare referrals and recommendations (as needed). Individuals will be admitted to the program based on an intake assessment, including dialogue with both the patient and a parent or legal guardian.
