My name is Jeremy Allen. I am a student intern. My counseling office is located in Summerlin, NV. I have been in the helping profession since 2010 when I began my work with men and women of the Untied States Air Force, as an acting First Sergeant. Here, I helped these men and women foster their own resiliency. I am passionate about helping people with issues such as anxiety, depression, anger, addiction, grief, loss, and trauma. I also have experience with helping men cope with men's issues, such as fatherhood, marriage, absent fathers, and repressed childhood traumas. I enjoy working with individuals who may feel disconnected from their own life or from their family. The therapeutic interventions I employ are rooted in Jungian, psychoanalytic, gestalt therapy, dream work, and person-centered therapy. This means you direct each session with support in a non-judgmental empathetic atmosphere. My therapeutic stance is that the client knows what is best for him or her. Oftentimes, individuals undergo too many struggles and cannot see their own strengths. The therapeutic process can help one regain strength and trust in oneself. Together, we can increase your strengths and resiliency through inner-awareness.
