I am a cognitive behavioral psychologist with extensive experience working with families of children and adolescents that exhibit emotional and behavioral disturbances, including the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Anxiety, Academic underachievement, OCD, Depression, interpersonal relationship issues, gaming/internet addiction, entitlement, low self-esteem and Oppositional Defiance Disorder. I emphasize using evidence-based methods that have scientific backing in working with children, adolescents, adults and couples. I engage in a collaborative process with my clients in which a variety of assessment, intervention, psychoeducation, and consultation services are utilized to treat people with dignity and respect to their values and belief system. I have a Doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology and a Master's degree in counseling, both from Arizona State University. Besides running groups for children, adolescents and young men I offer individual and family therapy as well as help couples enhance their relationship with each other. In addition to being a life coach, I have coached soccer, football, basketball, and softball for my four children. I believe that parenting is the most important business in the world and one of the best things we can do for our children is improve our relationship with our co-parent.
