Therapy is a process that is often sought out during times of change, stress or transition. It can take courage to reach out to others. Thus, I feel it important to have a level of trust and comfort with your therapist. I greatly enjoy providing direction and insight to the clients I serve. I view my role as one that facilitates further introspection and growth. Every life event, those that are joyful, painful, or somewhere in between, can serve to shape us as an individual as we make choices for how we are going to respond. I have a background in providing hospice support for nearly seven years. Thus, I specialize in the areas of grief and loss for adults and children. I also have experience working with individuals and families coping with life transitions/change. I would love to offer hope during your season of therapy. I have a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Counseling. I enjoy integrating a Christian worldview with counseling methodology. I believe there are additional strengths and assets that can be utilized when drawing from one's faith background. I gladly accept all clients, regardless of their faith beliefs or background.
