My name is Angie Viets and I am a Clinical Psychotherapist specializing in the treatment of eating disorders. I practice in Lawrence, Kansas. I treat the full spectrum of eating disorders in adolescents and adults (anorexia, bulimia and binge eating). I also see clients with a wide range of problems, including stress, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and relationship issues. I started my career at Bert Nash Community Mental Health Center, and then began practicing in Kansas City at Renew and later at InSight, where I honed my skills as an Eating Disorder Specialist. Eating disorders are best treated utilizing a multidisciplinary approach. The team generally consists of a psychotherapist, dietitian, medical doctor, and a support system of family and friends.
