I have been in private practice for almost 20 years and have worked with a variety of mental health issues. I feel my strongest skills are in dealing with anxiety and obsessive thinking. I have developed a technique that blends cognitive and behavioral therapy with thought-stopping, relaxation and visualization.I see patients of all ages and with many mental health issues. I was a school psychologist for 10 years before getting my PhD. At least half of my practice consists of young people, and I find they are often the most exciting and challenging to work with. I will be practicing in St. Marys, Georgia beginning June 20, 2014 at Cumberland Health Services at 10545 Colerain Road, 912-882-3662. I am clinically trained in hypnosis and guided visualization relaxation techniques. I'm also certified in the Virtual Gastric Band hypnotherapy treatment for weight loss without surgery. I use these skills to enhance treatment. I've also been trained in Family Therapy at Child Guidance Center- University of Pennsylvania Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
