I am a licensed marriage & family therapist and have been providing help for over 10 years. I work from a collaborative, strength-based approach, and capitalize on what has worked for you in the past. The human experience is vast and no two are alike. I will consider all that you bring into therapy, culture, family systems, your values, core beliefs, etc. Through exploration we will identify how your human experience has influenced how you go through life. I may challenge some of your core beliefs that may be out dated or not fit with the changes that you want to make. I practice an eclectic approach that incorporates Humanistic, Relational, Behavioral, Mindfulness, and Narrative therapies. I have extensive experience working with teens and parents and how to maneuver though such challenging years. My work with the transgender population has given me much satisfaction as I've helped them on their journey to become their authentic self.
