I have been a child therapist for over ten years and have had the privilege of helping children of all ages. While working at the Women's Center in Melbourne, I have dealt with difficult issues ranging from sexual abuse, domestic and community violence to complex trauma. In this journey, although, my primary therapeutic focus has been the child-parent relationship, I have had experience with managing interpersonal conflicts between couples and families as well. I have managed to offer objective insight and coping strategies in various situations to both children and adults. My goal is to provide a safe and comfortable environment in which they can discover their resilience and bounce back. I have used empathic listening, play therapy and clay/art therapy effectively to establish rapport with children. I have valuable experience with a broad spectrum of diagnoses. Dealing with bullying, low self-esteem, anxiety issues and inflicting self-harm are other areas I have managed successfully. I am a member of Space Coast Mental Health Association. I look forward to helping you and your child. I offer EVENING appointments to accommodate working and school schedules.
