I treat emotional, behavioral, and cognitive problems with compassion and openness using methods that help you connect to yourself and others more authentically. My specialties are eating disorders, trauma, intrapersonal issues, and co-occurring disorders. If you choose, we can tread the surface of your pain, dig deep to its roots or flow someplace in-between using a culmination of techniques tailored to meet your personal needs and goals. I pledge to listen deeply and provide a safe space for you to heal and process new insights and aspects of your world while the true you unfolds. We'll discover the meaning you give to events (thoughts, memories, interactions, emotions), examine your responses and explore their affects on your life. The space between the event and your response contains life changing choices. Change can seem daunting, but movement in small steps can be manageable and rewarding. In addition to private practice, I collaborate with an interdisciplinary clinical team of professionals to treat Eating Disorders in an intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization program. An Eating Disorder is a full-time, relentless job; get the proper support and guidance needed to fire your boss (ED), and live fully.
