Are you overwhelmed with life, confused and needing someone to help you sort things out? I think of myself as a practical therapist. I will help you find your solution to the issue you are facing by listening, providing support and suggestions and asking for clarification, providing feedback, creating personal understanding and when helpful, both challenge and direction. Humor is an important part of wellness and healing so expect a dose of that as well. Having personally experienced the loss of a loved one in hospice care I am honored to work with family members of the aging and terminally ill. I am excited to work with life transition issues, anxiety and mood disorders, compulsive disorders and substance use problems. I work with a team to provide counseling to couples who are experiencing relationship difficulties. I will work individually with you and refer your partner. When ready all four of us will join in counseling. Partners rely on their individual therapist to supportively guide them through the couple therapy process.
