I am a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in individual and couples therapy with adults. My areas of focus include depression, anxiety, relational and sexual issues, and emotional regulation. I have worked in university settings, private practice and community outpatient treatment centers. I use a prescriptive, eclectic approach in my work, meaning that I base interventions and approach on what you need (e.g., mindfulness and behavioral treatment for symptoms, interpersonal, DBT, and psycho-dynamic for relational and self-related issues, etc.). I currently have a small private practice where I work one day a week. I believe there are two crucial factors to making progress in therapy: the therapeutic relationship and enhancing what already works. My goal is to help create a trusting relationship and foundation to explore what is causing your distress and to build upon the positive aspects you are bringing to therapy.
