I hold my Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, with a certificate in Play Therapy and am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Florida. Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of settings, including private practice, school-based mental health programs, and inpatient and outpatient substance use facilities. This experience has given me the opportunity to work with a wide array of clients and presenting concerns. I specialize in working with adolescents, and have aided teenagers through challenges with depression, self esteem, anger, self injury, substance use, family, stress, relationships, socialization, behavior, and conflict resolution. I relate well with the adolescent population, and desire to utilize these skills to promote increased self-efficacy and positive change. Integrity and professionalism are foundational in my work with clients. I believe support and encouragement are essential to the counseling process and are vital in the promotion of wellness. I approach clients from a strengths-based perspective and foster positive change through focus on individual talents, values, hopes, and potential.
