Today, these beliefs can affect your life in profound ways. You may feel ashamed and don't want others to know the "real me." Therapy can empower you to improve your life. In my practice, I help people understand the impact of their past on the problems they face today. I specialize in helping people heal from the wounds of childhood abuses, sexual assault and domestic violence. I also work with adult children of alcoholics to recover and find their true selves. I provide a caring environment that empowers clients to change. My approach is eclectic with an inner child focus. I often use the 12-Steps of Recovery. I use EMDR to address traumatic events.
